Global Warming -a threat to our earth
Today man is facing one of the most horrible ecological crises of his time. The pollution is an undesirable change in the physical, chemical or biological characteristics of air, land and water that may harmfully affect human life or that of desirable species. The environment of world is gradually getting polluted. Its pace has increased considerably after the industrial revolution of the last century. Generally there are various kinds of pollutions such as pollution of air, water and land. In addition to these there are also other kinds of non pollution and thermal pollution. Due to the generation of poisonous gases from these industries the temperature of the earth is constantly varying. This is known as Global warming. Global warming has caused a serious danger to our health .Industrial pollution in thickly populated areas is very dangerous. The increasing industrial drainage has deprived us of the neat and clean atmosphere. Ultimately it affects the public health. To fight this pollution, the UNO has set up an agreement which abide the member countries to minimize the global warming of earth. This agreement is called as Earth Summit. Unfortunately the members of Earth Summit are more responsible for producing hazards to environment since they are more industrialist countries. World Bank accepted in 1994 on Earth Summit that the projects sponsored by it do not complement to Earth Summit rules and regulations. In Northern Europe the smoke emerging from industries has given an invitation to acidic rains in those areas. It is said that Green House effects are mainly created by lubricants however it is now verified that contrary to industrial hazards, lubricants are more environment friendly.40% of lubricants effects are disposed off at the same time by the following methods such as recycling, burning, land filling and water treatment. Lubricants are present in Oil or Greece in liquid form which are tasked to avoid the friction among the active parts of automobile .These also protect the parts from external factors such as mud ,grovel, snow ,ice rocks etc.In some countries the rules of disposing off are quite strict. It is said that a little careless attempt can pollute water on large basis. The marine live is also very much effected .Many companies propagate that they assemble environment friendly products .The environmental organizations after inspecting their products provide them with marks for e. g Germany has been awarded (blue angel) ,European Union (Daisy),(Eco label)(Gene Mark)Northern Counties 9Whit swan),Japan(EARTH FRIEND MARK) America (Green seal),Canada (Environment choice)China (Huan),Singapore (green label) etc. There are a number of measures to balance of global warming. Treatment plants may be installed in factories. Factories should beset up far away from residential areas. Vehicles may be properly controlled to stop smoke. Plantation of trees may also be given due importance. Protection forests may be produced. Cruel cutting down of trees should at once be stopped. There should be proper arrangement for water cleaning. More gardens and parks be provided in the cities. If serious measures are not taken it is feared that it might be too late to save earth.
